Coming from the South, I went berserk when I saw this white fluffy stuff everywhere. SNOW!! I rarely see snow and I literally played in the snow everyday for hours.
I landed at La Guardia airport at noon and piled on layers to keep myself warm from the 20 degree weather. I picked up two hot dogs from a Sabrett hot dog stand (very typical in NYC). For the next 5 hours, I visited the Metropolitan Museum and the American Museum of Natural History. After I walked to Strawberry Fields in Central Park and took many pictures, I played in the snow until I literally couldn’t stand up anymore. I visited New York the past Summer and the scene was people bathing under the sun on the fresh cut grass. Personally, I prefer the white sheets of snow. To end the day, we went Dallas BBQ (and I’m not sure why we chose BBQ when I’m from Texas….. the food didn’t compare to Texas BBQ) but, we each had half a chicken, cornbread, coleslaw, and fries. It was all mediocre, but we wanted to save our money for more festivities.
