What is not to love about smoked salmon? The decadent, salty, savory flavor bursts life into the taste buds in your mouth. Unless you are not a seafood fan, you must love smoked salmon, right? It is not in my fridge often because it’s quite pricy. So when I get the chance to have some smoked salmon, I will eat it with some honey mustard, or make a crepe! And my version of smoked salmon crepe is quite simple, but oh em geee the combination of chives, dill, sour creme, and smoked salmon is to die for.
The recipe starts with a basic crepe recipe.
Pour the batter into a huge circular pan and cook both sides for about 1-2 minutes, until light brown. Add pieces of smoked salmon on one half of the crepe. Top with a combination of sour cream, lemon juice, dill weed, and chopped chives. Flip the crepe in half and repeat the same step on the half of the half, so 1/4th of the crepe. Fold the crepe one more time to create the triangular shape. I topped the crepe with the same cream cheese mixture, but with EXTRA CHIVES!! and a tiny piece of smoked salmon.
I’m lazy so I did not measure any of the ingredients, I just added ingredients and kept tasting until it tasted the way I liked it.
-Enjoy this crepe because it is the greatest crepe you will ever have!!!!:)
